Family hubWhat we are here for
Building the foundations for success and happiness.
Our vision is to ignite a passion for learning in our students and equip them with the skills and mindset to thrive and achieve excellence.
Kismet Park is a school where children are known, supported and challenged to grow. We combine strong teaching with genuine care, creating a place where every child can learn, belong and be their best.
About our schoolBe Your Best
It’s about effort, growth, and becoming more capable, more confident, and proud of what you can do.
Respect
It’s shown in how we speak, how we listen, and how we treat the people and places around us.
Resilience
Things won’t always be easy, and we won’t always get them right. What matters is how we respond, learn, seek support when we need it, and find a way forward.
Kindness
We teach children to look out for others, act with care, and help create a school where everyone belongs.
What you might be wondering
What a Tuesday
can look like
Here’s what a typical day at Kismet Park looks like, from the gates opening in the morning to home time in the afternoon.
All gates open
All gates open and yard supervision begins.
Our curriculum
Every child known. Every learner challenged.
Strong literacy and numeracy underpinned by structured Inquiry and access to technology — with extension for students ready to stretch and intervention where it is needed.
Literacy
Explicit teaching, a reading goal your child can tell you, and small focus groups every day.
Numeracy
The same big idea, entered at the level your child is at. Hands-on early, real problems later.
Inquiry
A real question, chased across weeks, with something built or presented at the end of it.
Specialists
Visual Arts, Japanese, STEM and Physical Education — every child, every week.
From the Principal
“All children can learn and achieve to high levels given the right time and support.”
Our values shape how we work every day. Be Your Best, Respect, Resilience and Kindness guide what we expect from students, how we teach, and how we support one another as a school community.
